DB 260 is a self-loading concrete mixer with 2.5 m³ yield. It is characterized by optimal visibility from the cabin and by the ergonomic position of the operator, resulting from the driver’s seat reversibility and the drum rotation system for 360° download.
It is equipped with a unique device for automatic water dosing, tip-off function during loading, and a specially shaped and designed drum to optimist dosing and mixing operations to assure concrete homogeneity.
The technology employed in the CBV versions, the innovative computerized system that manages the production process (optional), allows the operator’s errors to be reduced to a minimum, assuring consistency, repeatability and quality of the concrete batch, even in the most demanding conditions.
Although compact, this is a high productivity vehicle. It can therefore be used during large-scale work, given its unrivalled agility and stability, as a four-wheel drive vehicle with articulated chassis and differential swivelling axle.
The DB 180 enables independent production of top quality concrete, delivered direct to any site, whether in an urban setting or located in some remote or inaccessible area. As an economic version and user-friendly vehicle endowed with an optimal daily productivity rating (potentially over 60 m³ of concrete), the DB 180 is an ideal self-loading concrete mixer for rental business and for use in difficult maintenance work areas.
DB 260 Features
1- PERFORMANCE AND HANDLING
The front steering differential swing axle, together with the larger tyres and the high pressure automotive hydrostatic transmission, facilitates driving and machine control on any terrain. Compact and easy to handle, with 4-wheel-drive and steering, FIORI GROUP concrete mixers feature impressive off-road capabilities. The manoeuvrability and excellent off-road mobility of our vehicles allows them to be placed at the jet position in all site conditions.
2- VISIBILITY and COMFORT
The patented system for the drum rotation also allows full control over the mix directly from the cabin, combining the reversible driving with the 360° dumping. The 245° drum rotation, in fact, ensures complete visibility thus allowing the operator to check the consistency of the mix from the cabin. In this position, the drum is rotated and the machine remains compact.
DB 260 are equipped with a standard ground control panel (always available to the operator) to manage, program and control water input into the drum, as well as the mixing/unloading functions and the activation of the hydraulic device for chute lifting/lowering.
3- LOADING SYSTEM and TIP-OFF
The loading arm is driven by a Z-shaped auto-compensated kinematic mechanism with two lifting cylinders and two double-acting loader return cylinders: thanks to a multifunction joystick it can be easily controlled by the operator. The special design of the loader-conveyor unit makes for an easier loading of materials in the drum.
A dedicated closing hatch, driven by two cylinders and easily controlled by the operator through a multifunction Joystick, has the function of dosing the dumping (reducing cement powder spillage) and releasing excess material with decrement weighing before pouring in the drum (Tip-Off function).
4- CONCRETE BATCHING VEHICLE
The equipment on the CBV version includes an exclusive and accurate dosing system (integrated into an on board computer through which multiple recipes can be saved by storing different components for each of them), as well as an instantaneous and final checking system of the quality of the concrete. This system guides the operator during mix design preparation, assuring a high dosing precision, homogeneity in the mix and therefore an extremely strong concrete.
The humidity percentage can be input and the water to be pumped in the drum can be automatically compensated so that the water/cement ratio remains constant. A specific report is printed and certifies the features of the concrete produced.
5- ERGONOMICS AND SAFETY
Protecting the safety of workers is an obligation no organization can neglect nowadays. FIORI GROUP is proud of this machine, which has been specially designed to provide full handling, the best ergonomic features for the driver and the latest safety devices available on the market. Our machines are in fact equipped with a closed cabin fitted with FOPS/ROPS heating and mounted on silent block, with ergonomic controls and multi-function joystick, and with reversible driver’s seat.
DB 180 Features
1- PERFORMANCE AND MOBILITY
Great stability and articulated frame. The front oscillating differential axle ensures excellent stability even at full load on difficult and rough tracks. Thanks to the double jack controlling the frame articulation, maneuvering is fast and easy.
2- LOADING SYSTEM
Visibility, maneuverability and high-quality mixing thanks to the double truncated cone-shaped drum with convex bottom and dual-screw mixing system. Fixed loader with automatic unloading hatch whereby material loading is optimized and spillage prevented when introducing the components into the drum.
3- FLEXIBILITY AND PRODUCTIVITY
Ergonomics. Dual controls that can be activated both from the cabin and from the ground. Equipped with a MIX CONTROL F6000 system to manage, program and control water input into the drum. The mixing/unloading functions are always available to the operator both in the cabin and on the ground.
4- BITING BUCKET
The optional digging bucket with a capacity of 500 litres guarantees greater productivity when loading inert material but it especially speeds up the loading of cement from the top hatch.
